CostcoInStock is a mobile app published by PasswordlessWin, LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States ("we", "us", "our"). The app lets you track Costco product inventory and receive on-device notifications when items come back in stock.

When you sign in to Costco through the app's Costco sign-in screen, the app captures and stores your Costco sign-in session. This information is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. It is used solely to communicate with Costco's website and services to fetch inventory and pricing on your behalf.
To find inventory at nearby Costco warehouses, the app uses a ZIP code or city/state that you type. The app does not access your device's GPS or location sensor. If you use the city picker, the city name is sent to a third-party geocoding service and your ZIP code is validated through a third-party postal-code lookup service to derive a latitude/longitude used only for warehouse lookups. This information is stored on your device and sent to Costco's services to find stores near you.
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Adapty Tech Inc. We receive only a boolean "is premium" flag. We do not collect, store, or transmit your payment method, credit card number, or billing address. See Adapty's Privacy Policy for details on what they collect.
The following information is stored locally in your device's private app storage and is never transmitted to our servers:
In-stock alerts are generated and delivered entirely on your device using the operating system's local notification service. No push notification token is created or transmitted anywhere. No notification content leaves your device.

The app communicates with the following external services. Named providers have linked privacy policies; unlisted providers are engaged solely for technical infrastructure and do not receive data beyond what is described in §2.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media SDKs, or any crash/error reporting services.
On-device data. All data we store lives on your device. Signing out clears only your Costco sign-in session; other settings and lists are retained. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data we store on your device — including your tracked lists, inventory history, settings, and sign-in session. We operate no backend servers, so uninstall is a complete erasure of everything under our control.
Data held by third parties. Uninstalling our app does not affect data held by others:
All network communication uses TLS (HTTPS). On-device data is stored in your device's private app storage, which is accessible only to the app. We do not operate a backend database containing your personal information.
CostcoInStock is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all app data is stored only on the device, you can remove it entirely by uninstalling the app.

Adapty Tech Inc. is headquartered in the United States. When you purchase a subscription, your entitlement data is transferred to and processed in the US. Adapty relies on appropriate transfer mechanisms (including Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in their privacy policy.
All other data (Costco session, location, lists, settings) remains on your device and is transmitted only to Costco's website and services and our geocoding, postal-code, and spot-price service providers — each of which operates its own transfer mechanisms.

CostcoInStock is operated from the United States. If you access the app from outside the US, your data (including any you send to third-party services listed above) may be processed in the US or other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the app you acknowledge this transfer.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes we will update the in-app version number visible in Settings.
